lyrics

sebastian,

read the memo. it was a stupid idea to send me away. i can’t be in seattle knowing the turmoil that your dealing with in the capital. yes, i do i believe in symbols because it’s all that we have left. don’t you see that the architects never even managed to complete the foundation and now they’ve all gone deaf. please remember that when the dust finally settles there, the man with the whitest smile tells the boldest lies. and please remember that everyone you admire is in the past. these are not the men that you swore allegiance too.

read the memo, it’s been slowly breaking apart for the last year. i’m going to return tomorrow because i know that i’m all that you truly have left to believe in. ever since he died there is a sadness in your eyes that every man can see. it’s time to prove that your sadness isn’t a weakness. you should climb the walls, take back our houses and bring the kids home from the terror farms. please close the terror farms. it’s time to rise up and redeem the name and the honor of the wrist. it’s time to give the people their voices and their power back or there’ll be no future at all for this country.

read the memo, everything you fought for is finished now. it was a perfect ideal that we both gave our youth away for. but, now the party is old and broken. the widow is blind with power. after all these years she’s forgotten the books that lead us this far. so now you must put down your books and codes. read these letters and understand that you have your woman at your side. i will always stand strong and be brave with you. we both know the time has come. it’s time to start a war
